Hello Sharon!
My name is also Sharon Arthur, and I too was an artist for over 20 years. When I was looking for a domain name for creating a website, I tried to get my own name, but it was taken. So I became curious about who had taken it and had my same name. And a bit of research came up with your name , and that you were an artist living in Oregon, USA. So I was just looking at your extraordinarily beautiful watercolors. And I am moved to write you a comment. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such gorgeous looking scenery, and also done in such an emotional style, as you’ve done here. You are very talented, and I really like your style in painting. Your work really reaches me and speaks to me. You clearly have a great love for the physical area you live in. You paint it in such loving detail. Your feelings for the landscape there, are obvious. It makes me wish I lived there, as well. I live on the east coast, in Virginia, which I like. I painted in oils on canvas and am more of a primitive painter, almost surreal in my shapes and forms, sometimes. Anyway… I just wanted to leave a comment. You should have an art gallery handling your watercolors, if you don’t already. It looks like you paint for the love of it, but I can’t really tell. I think people would buy your work. And maybe they already are.
Now I am currently a writer. I’m working on self publishing a poetry book. My first one. I don’t yet have it published or a website up, but hope to within the next few months. It is a grief poetry book, to help those who have lost a loved one, my reaction to the loss of my parents who passed away a number of years ago.
Well, I hope this is not an unwelcome entry. I just mainly wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed seeing your watercolors. It’s not every day that you see someone with the same name, and same profession, as well. Thank you. Sincerely,
Sharon Arthur
Nature art can be so awsome.
Makes me open my eyes to myself growing into a scupturer. Art that is what I was longing for.
It will satisfy you deeply.
